My Disney World Trip: Day 1- Magic Kingdom
As I entered Magic Kingdom, visions of fantasy and wonder entered my head. Boy how right I would be!! Here is all the things I encountered along Magic Kingdom:
* Walking down Main Street was astounding! Why, just entering , Pinnochio and Pluto greeted us. How exciting!!!!! We shopped around the stores and saw a barbershop quartet performing in the street. To boot, Mary Poppins was around to give us a handshake. How practically perfect!!
* But before we get to rides, how about I describe our first Disney dining experience. Crystal Palace was the place we ate at. Winnie The Pooh is among my favorite Disney films (along with The Lion King, Toy Story 3 and The Jungle Book). So to my surprise and happiness, Pooh, Eyeore, Piglet and Tigger were marching around the buffet resteraunt.
Here I am with Pooh (I am the one in the black hair and the Mickey Mouse shirt):
Here I am with Tigger:
* Pirates of The Carribean was our first ride..and what a ride!! Jack Sparrow was shown throughout and everyone cheered at the sight of Johnny Depp! Nextup was the fun Jungle Cruise. Some of the best animatronics if I do say so! The Hall of Presedents was great. The Obama robot was (in particular) grand and looked almost creepily real.
* The Haunted Mansion was a great ride, although my little brother was freaked out by it. The Country Bear Jamboree (below) was amazing with some truly terrific songs. Peter Pan's Flights was another fun one, using minitares to make London and Neverland look more real than ever.
* Mickey Philharmagic was a brilliant 4D ride where Donald Duck encountered most of the classic Disney movies. Great water and smoke effects made the ride really pop, although all those great songs are stuck in my head again!! The Winnie the Pooh ride was a soothing ride that really had some great fun animatronics, bringing my favorite movie to life like never before.
* Finally, Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin was tons of fun, where we got to blast all of Zurgs minions and save Buzz!! Me ny my brothers even posed with Zurg (below) Next up was The Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor where we got to see a live attraction featuring the Monsters Inc. characters. The technology was amazing!!!
* Lastly, the parade (below) was nice, lthough there should've been more due to the long wait.
Overall, my favorite ride was the Winnie The Pooh ride. Just liked seeing the film come to life. Well that's it for Magic Kingdom folks. Tomorrow: Epcot and the 5 G-Forces I endured.
