Here he Comes To Save The Day...er, Film

Who here remembers..Mighty Mouse? Well, Paramount is looking for a director and writer to take on the smallest superhero of them all. Obviously, they're trying to get that Chipmunks money and Mighty Mouse fits the bill..I guess.

The horrors of remaking continue.

DVD Review: Everybody's Fine

RObert De Niro is power in a body. It's a shame then to see him in a fiulm like this where he has to be in a film tailor made for those 70 year olds wanting to smile. These films aren't always bad, but they are the death-toll for an old actor's career.

Robert plays Frank Goode, a man who hasen't seen his kids in a while. One by one, he surprises each one with a visit and learns that, despite thier assurance, each of the children's lives are falling apart.

All of the cast seem to be very stiff but Robert once again gives a fine performance. The film is much deeper than the commercials make it out to be and it at least has the guts to be a little sadder than these films usually go. With Robert doing a fine job, the film just barely rises from the mediocore pile.

Rating: 6 out of 10 or C+

Are You Worthington To Play Dracula?

Sam Worthington (Avatar) is set to play Dracula in Alex Proya's new film. Alex previously directed the wonderful Knowing. This could be a good choice to play Dracula, though Sam will forever be known as Jake Scully. Will that hinder future productions like this and Clash of The Titans? time will tell.

I Pity The Fool Who Isn't in The A-Team

The A-Team remake is almost done filming. A question on everyone's mind though, is will Mr. T be part of it. THe answer is No. Why? Because he felt a cameo wasn't needed, like William Shatner in Star Trek.

Quite interesting.

Harvey Hops Away

Steven Spielberg has hopped away from his Harvey remake. Casting trouble an a bad screenplay probably kept him away. Not sure if it's completely dead, but I think it is.

Next up for this great man is Indiana Jones 5 and Lincoln. Can't wait to see both of them.
