Film Review: Tooth Fairy

Dwayne Johnson has had the most strange Hollywood career I've ever seen. First, he started out as a wrestler. Next, he became an action star in The Scorpion King and the Mummy 2. Now, he's fallen into family movies. Now, The Game Plan was OK and Get Smart hillarious. But Race to Witch Mountain was horrid and now Tooth Fairy brings Dwayne down so many notches...it's unbelievable.

Dwayne plays Drek Thompson a hockey star who has a had a rough life. After he squashes a poor child's dream, he becomes...THE TOOTH FAIRY!!

What's sad about the film is that Julie Andrews, Ashley Judd and Billy Crystal are in this dreck. What happened to your careers? It's beyond sad to see these talents be thrown around. The rest of the film ain't better. While it's mainly free of bodily jokes but it's not as if it's funnier with the slapstick it throws on ya. The film is a mess otherwise and will leave you wanting to punch the Toothy Fairy's teeth out.

DVD Review: Santa Buddies

Santa Buddies is the defenition of atrocity. It makes a pile of garbage look like the Mona Lisa. Maybe I'm over-reacting, but this is among the worst things I have seen in a looong time.

This time, the Buddies (the off-spring of air Bud) have to save Christmas! What will happen next? We all now. They save X-mas and they learn a lesson. Oh, and there's potty humour in it as well.

Little kids will find much to love here, but no one else will have fun. In fact, I can see many parents leaving kids alone just with this film a baby-sitter. Yes, it's that bad. But I don't mind stupid movies. I love them actually. But this isn't just stupid. It's not funny, no good action and the pups aren't even cute. I feel like this was made for a buck. It was...but it at least could've been half-good.

Chris Weitz Says New Line Didn't Have A Moral 'Compass'

Chris Weit (diector of New Moon and above) has just come out about the notorious bomb that was The Golden Compass. He has stated it was a horrible experience and that they ruined the film. He goes on to say they removed him from the editing process.

Quite frankly, both of his films were horrible. But if he can come out that Golden Compass was bad, maybe one day he'll come out and say that New Moon was bad.

Speaking of Twilight, I'll be removing my cool name tomorrow. I love it too, but we need to get back to ordinary matters.
