A Little Marvel News

This is one of those things that we can't know for sure yet.but it's from a reliable source so I'll post it. As we know, Kevin Fiege said last year that there was another film planned for 2012. Also, they are planning for 3 films a year now.

Well, it seems Disney will be releasing that 2012 picture. It's name?

*Return of The Incredible Hulk (July 13, 2012) (Disney)

*Iron Man 3 (May 3, 2013) (Paramount)

*Ant-Man (June 2013) (Disney)

*Thor 2 (4th of July 2013) (Disney)

Captain America To Be Cast Soon

Captain America is about to move forward and the person to play our American hero should be unvieled soon. Can't wait.

Captain of A Forthcoming Park

Odd title? Actually, it perfectly describes Joe Johntson (above), who right now is wrapping up The Wolfman and is starting work on Captain America. He notes that Captain America will be like Saving Private Ryan, in that it starts and ends in the present day, but it mostly takes place in the 1940's.

Also, Jurassic Park IV seems to be moving forward a long last. Joe says it's somewhat of a reboot. It'll "take the franchise into a new direction". My interest is piqued. Let's see if they will do it right.

Marvel + Disney = Forever

On New Years Eve, Disney not only merged with Marvel but also struck a new deal with Stan Lee. The stockholders have finally approved of the acquisition of Marvel and soon Disney can make movies based on the rich Marvel superheroes heritage. I'll be excited to see how this works out for both Disney AND Marvel.

Captain America will Shoot Soon

This Summer will see the beginning of Marvel's first superhero: Captain America. The film will start shooting in June, so expect cast news by February. I shall be excited to see it's progress.

Iron Man 2 Footage Premiering....

Wedensday, that's when. Entertainment Tonight will have footage and a perhaps the trailer for the big sequel. Can't wait.

Jeremy Renner is Hawkeye?? Maybe...

Jeremy Renner may cameo in Thor as Hawkeye. He also mentions a possibility of being in The Avengers. Who is Jeremy Renner? This guy below.



He might do well. I like him. If you don't know who he is, he was in The Hurt Locker. The Marvel superhero film universe continues to expand.

Kat Dennings Joins Thor

Kat Dennings has joined 2011's Thor as Darcy, who will work with Thor's girlfriend. She joins a cast consists of Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and possible Robert De Niro and Jude Law among many others.

I always enjoy Marvel's films and I am intrigued by such a cast as this one. Thor will arrive on May 20, 2011, possible in 3D. Can't wait.
