Dawn of First Class

Breaking Dawn and X-Men: First Class have gotten release dates. First up, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will (presumably) be one film after all. That film will be directed by Bill (Dreamgirls) Condon and will be relased November 18, 2011, going up against Happy Feet 2. I don't think any film will move because of Twilight entering the frame just because the Twilight films tend to be front loaded (i.e. New Moon dropped 70% in it's second weekend)

X-Men: First Class will be released June 3, 2011, a mere two years following X-Men Origins: Wolverine. At the helm this time will be Matthew (Kick-Butt, Stardust) Vaughn will direct this installement. If you want a fun fact, Mathew was approached to direct X-Men 3 back in late 2004!

Which Is The Real X?

It seems a SECOND X-Men movie has been said to be next. Despite X-Men: First Class having a director and Deadpool having a finished script, a second Wolverine film has something those films don't: a start date. The film is set to start filming next Spring and have a script and casting done by the end of 2010. Hmm. My question is where does First Class come in? Maybe it's right after it?

TIme will tell.

First Class Is Up Next

The next X-Men film has been announced: X-Men Origins: First Class. Even better, Bryan Singer (director of X-Men and X2 and above) will direct. Good news for the franchise and defenitly will give us some quality action come 2012. Jamie Moss is writing a script right now. Exciting.
