Ryan Reynolds (above) is super-excited for The Green Lantern. In that he'll star as Hal Jordans or the Green Lantern in other words!! He'll also be starring in the Deadpool spin-off as the title character. He says he's seen the Green Lantern costume and it was defining moment of 2009.
Personally, he's a great actor that I really feels has vast potential. He was great in Wolverine and I think he'll be exceptional as The Green Lantern. I'm very excited.
The Green Lantern comes out on June 17, 2011 and Deadpool will be out in 2012/2013. Superhero films just keep getting better. In fact, look for a post about the imprevious Iron Man later today!!
