Blu-Ray Review: Fame (2009)

If you want a bad remake, this is the perfect definition of it. A lame remake of a good 1980 film.

In a special school, students are taught to sing the sing and dance the dance. They have to be the best they can be and more. See several students have their lives changed..forever.

The problem with the film is that several characters appear and disappear. For instance, an African-American child is shown in the beginning, has an intriguing plot and isn't shown again. It's things like this, coupled with the children's bad acting, that put the film as just a large piece of crud.

The adult do well, though, Kelsey Grammer is exceptional actually. But the children shoud get acting lessons, not dancing lessons. It's a bad film that really should've been more.
